There have been numerous occasions where I somehow found myself peddling my 10 speed bike in a torrential down pour. Sometimes I had no choice when trying to make my college 8 a.m. In these circumstances, this fender that I designed is totally useless. However, there have been even more times where I have found myself peddling post large downpour. In these circumstances, the water on the ground finds its way hurling up off the tires of my bike. This is when my simple device could come in handy!
My device is a modular fender which could be adapted to any mountain or road bike. By simply connecting each section together, and securing them to the bike frame, you are protected from rain from flinging up from the front tire.
